History

The factory was built in 1996 by the Beckers, Christian and Dagmar Becker, within the premises of the former Rahova beer factory (Bragadiru). Original and traditional recipes were sought from the very beginning, to give a special taste to beer. The Master Brewers combined different types of malt to create a so-called "Craft Beer".

Ten years later, in 2006, Becker Brau opens a second location in Bucharest, 11 Turturelelor Street, Becker Brau Live Music, the club logo being "KEEP THE MUSIC ALIVE".

Over the years, famous bands have given concerts here, among which: Uriah Heep, Paul Gilbert (Mr. Big), Steve Lukather (Toto), Frank Gambale (Chick Corea Band), T. M. Stevens (Steve Vai), Eric Sardinas, etc.

Among the celebrities that have come through the doors of the Becker Brau brewery are: the members of Deep Purple band, Scorpions, Ronnie James Dio, Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, Nicole Kidman, Keith Urban, Wesley Snipes, Larry Hagman, Dieter Bohlen and Thomas Anders (Modern Talking), etc.
